There's so many possibilities with the Floral District designer series paper

and the Betsy's Blossoms stamp set.
Notice the stamp set is used to stamp the background and then the designer series paper is used mid-way the card.  The Big Shot and Labels Collection Framelits were used to make the piece to hold the sentiment.  The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is from the Bring on the Cake stamp set.

Here we have the Floral District designer series paper used for the background on the front of the card. The "Get Well Soon" sentiment is out of the Sincere Saluations stamp set (retired).  Other items used:  Whisper White, Lucky Limeade, Rich Razzleberry card stock, Daffodil Delight ribbon and the Decorative Label punch.
Once again, these cards were designed by my sister, Sue!  Thanks sis for the ideas.
Have a great Friday and safe weekend.  See you early next week!

"Male" card continues.....

and once again it uses The Open Sea stamp set.
I love the color combination for this card.  Even though the designer series paper is retired, I will still be using it for those personal cards that I need to send.  Thanks Sis for another "male" card idea ~ I have such a hard time creating cards for those men in my life!
Enjoy the rest of your day and thanks for joining me!

Looking for a "male" card?

Well here you go!
This card uses The Open Sea stamp set; Night of Navy, Crumb Cake and Whisper White card stock; the Big Shot and Perfect Polka Dots Folder and the Neutrals Brads.  The "Thinking of You" sentiment is from Sincere Salutations which is retired.  Even though this set is retired, I will still have it available at my classes as many of my customers have this set.
I'm glad you stopped by today and I hope you'll stop by again soon!

Stampin' with my NC downline continues.....

My post today is the little pocket book that Sue, my sister, shared with my NC downline at our meeting last week.
 Here's the inside.
Sue used Marina Mist and Whisper White card stock, Twitterpated designer series paper, the Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dots Folder, Labels Collection Framelits, Brights Designer Buttons and Linen Thread.
And here's a closer view showing the detail.
Last week Sue and I met our cousins - Mary Ann, Linda and Susan - at Cracker Barrel.  It's always great seeing family when back in Charlotte.
Happy Monday; thanks for stopping by today!

Oops....I forgot to photograph Sue's share at the downline get together....but not to worry, I have several cards I will be sharing with you that she's made....

For this card Sue used the REASON TO SMILE stamp set.  Place a $50 merchandise order this month and get this set for just $5.00.  For more details regarding this promotion, go to my Stampin'Up! Website, www.shirleybmckay.stampinup.net.

Sue "cased" this card from one of Stampin'Up!'s publications.
After meeting the Women of Worth Bible Study group Tuesday morning, Sue and I had lunch with our Circle of Friends.  This is a group of ladies that have been together for years...we've been there for each other through thick and thin.  Unfortunately everyone could not be there but above is Doris on the left and Linda on the right.
And above is Bernice on the left and sister, Sue, on the right.  We missed Linda B and Ginger.

I'm glad you stopped by today and hope to see you again soon.  As promised yesterday, I will show Sue's downline get together share just as soon as I'm able to photograph it.
Happy Friday!

Stampin' with my NC downline continues....

Michelle shared with us a card using the PERFECTLY PRESERVED stamp set that is in the new Holiday Catalog which goes live August 1st.

She used Rich Razzleberry card stock and ink, coordinating designer series paper and Early Espresso ink and ribbon.
Shhhh...but this set coordinates with the Cannery Framelits Dies also featured in the Holiday Catalog.  Oh and in the new Catalog you will be able to purchase the Perfectly Preserved Bundle (includes the stamp set and framelit dies) at a 15% discount.  Wood is $44.95 / Clear is $38.95
The new Catalog has so many new and fun things for the upcoming holidays ~ I can't wait for you to see!
And here's Michelle.  She is such a great friend and I am delighted to have her in my Daily Stamping Group!  Michelle created my blog using Stampin'Up!'s My Digital Studio.  You can find her business information on the right side of my blog.

When I'm in Charlotte, I try to see as many friends as I can.  On Tuesday, I visited with some of the ladies in the Women of Worth Bible Study Group that I used to attend.  Front right to left:  Betty-my sister in law; Vicki-her daughter; Sue-my sister and me.  There were about 10 ladies that got together at Panera Bread.
Last but not least, here's Denise, our leader with her sweet Mom, Libby!  As always it was awesome being in fellowship with these Women of Worth.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope to see you again tomorrow as I will be sharing what Sue shared with us at the Downline get together.  You don't want to miss it!  Have a great day.

Last night I got to stamp with Donna & Michelle....two of my NC downlines

We each brought a "shoe box" with a card or project we wanted to share.

Donna chose the FOUR SEASONS stamp set for her share.  The Four Seasons set is available for hostesses only and can be viewed on page 203 of the 2012/13 Catalog.

And here's Donna ~ my very first recruit!  Thanks for hanging in there with me all these years!
Sue, my sister, and I worked together as a team until I moved to TX in 2010 and we held all of our workshops in one bay of her three bay garage.  Shortly after I left NC to go to TX, my brother-in-law built her a cabin where she holds all of her stamping classes.  Go figure. LOL  Sue was kind enough to host my NC downline
 get together in her cabin.
Not only does Sue enjoy stamping and quilting, she loves gardening.  This is her view looking out from the front of her cabin.  It's so beautiful.
Stay tuned tomorrow for Michelle's share.
Today begin's Stampin'Up's! Convention in Salt Lake City...I hope to be there next year for their 25th!
Until next time, do something good for yourself; stamp daily!

For today's share I'm using the BETSY'S BLOSSOMS stamp set

and the FLORAL DISTRICT designer series paper.  The FLORAL DISTRICT PRODUCT SUITE is featured on page 70 and 71 of the 2012/13 Annual Catalog.

Both cards were "cased" from other Stampin'Up! demonstrators.

Even though SINCERE SALUTATIONS is retired, I can't keep from using it.  Many of my customers have this set and I want them to be reminded that it's OK to continue using it.
Now I told you earlier in the week about my daughter and son-in-law's July 4th celebration.  Well above is a picture of all the fireworks in the back of the SIL's truck that he set off.  What a display it was.  They had about 50 at the party not counting the number of people that walked up to watch.
Here's Laura in her cute red, white and blue attire.
We had a great evening...good food, fellowship and fun!
Thanks for joining me today.  Don't forget to do something good for yourself; stamp daily!

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY....

Here's Laura's last 4th of July project.....pinwheels.  They were so simple!  She did an outstanding job helping her parents get ready for their 4th of July Celebration later today.  It will be an afternoon of fun and fellowship with family and friends.  My son-in-law goes all out with the fireworks. Last year we were all disappointed as there was a ban on fireworks due to our dry conditions.  Look out this year!   I'll be sharing some of those photographs with you tomorrow.  Stay tuned.
Enjoy your day and take time to remember the real reason for the Celebration ~ God bless you and yours.

Another 4th of July decoration......

Our granddaughter loves projects....so here's one she created using Stampin'Up!'s Big Shot and Rosette Bigz Die.  We used two pieces of red, white and blue card stock and cut the rosettes to make them the size we wanted.  These can be used in a number of ways to decorate for the 4th.
Ok, tomorrow is her last 4th of July project ~ I hope you can join me then.
Until next time, happy stampin'!

Preparing for our 4th of July Celebration

It's been so long since I've posted but we've had lots of things going on.  We are keeping our granddaughter some this summer and have been busy doing some fun things with her.  Here she is making Uncle Sam and Aunt Samantha!

I saw this idea of covering a Pringle's can in the July 2nd issue of Woman's World.
We used lots of Stampin'Up! "stuff"....card stock, the Big Shot, Tasteful Trim Die, several punches, glass stampin' glitter just to name a few.
And here she is with her finished project.  She did such a great job!  Aren't Uncle Sam and Aunt Samantha cute?
Stay tune tomorrow for another projects she made for our upcoming 4th of July Celebration.
Have a great day!
