I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS LAURA'S LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL! She has her Celebration of Learning tomorrow so I made both of her teachers a gift.

I made four cards using the MIXED BUNCH stamp set and coordinating BLOSSOM punch.  For the sentiments and inside verses I used the SINCERE SALUTATIONS and CURVY VERSES stamp sets.  I ended up having to redesign the box as I couldn't find my pattern....the story of my life.  For this particular set, I used Whisper White, Melon Mambo and Old Olive card stock.  For the other set I used Whisper White, Concord Crush and Pear Pizzazz.
Here's a closer view of the flower on the box.  I punched two of the BLOSSOMS out of the Old Olive card stock, cut both in half  and arranged them to "frame" the flower.  That's probably clear as mud but I hope you understand what I'm trying to say.  The "just for you" is out of the TEENY TINY WISHES set.  I also used the MODERN LABEL and WORD WINDOW punches.
And here is how I packed the gifts.  I used a cello bag and tied it off with WHITE SATIN RIBBON.

Thank you for joining me.  I hope my post has given you some inspiration to get those creative juices flowing!

Another BRIGHT BLOSSOMS share...

I love the SUMMER SMOOCHES designer series paper and this
particular sheet looks really good  with the Island Indigo card stock that I used for the base.  The Whisper White card stock separating the two
makes the DSP pop.
The Island Indigo piece on the front of the card measures 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 and then I used the EXTRA-LARGE OVAL punch for the Daffodil Delight card stock, topped with the SCALLOP OVAL piece out of Whisper White that has been stamped on.  To finish the card off, I used the Daffodil Delight ribbon.  And of course, I thought it needed a little bling so I
used a RHINESTONE JEWEL in the center of the flower.
I'm glad you joined me today ~ hope to see you back here soon!

I HAD A CHANCE TO PLAY A WHILE YESTERDAY and here's a couple of cards I came up with using the BRIGHT BLOSSOMS Stamp Set

I ran across a similar card made by another Stampin'Up! demonstrator and switched it up a bit to my liking.  This set was part of the Summer Smooches Promotion back in April and I'm pleased to let you know this set along with the coordinating designer series paper (Summer Smooches) is in the 2012/13 Annual Catalog which goes live June 1st.
Other products used:  Big Shot, Vintage Wallpaper Folder, Top Note Die, Summer Smooches DSP, Real Red Satin Ribbon and Ink, Lucky Limeade Ink and Card Stock, 1" Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch and Bring On The Cake Stamp Set.
Join me tomorrow for another card using this same stamp set.
Just a reminder....you have only a little over a week to order retired products out of the 2011/12 Idea Book & Catalog.   Don't delay; go to my website to place your order today.
Thanks for joining me today and until next time, happy stampin'!

WHICH STAMP SET DO YOU LIKE THE MOST?

ELEMENTS OF STYLE
or
THOUGHTS & PRAYERS?

These cards were made at my May Blue Bonnets Class.  Both use only one ink color...I love the simplicity of both.  For the top card I used Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Whisper White card stock.  Very Vanilla card stock was used for the Forever & Always card.  I cased this card from Norma C., my sideline from NC.
Now isn't this the cutest arrangement?  I received this cookie bouquet earlier this week from one of my stampers, Lezanne, and I just had to share it with you.  I helped Lezanne add a little pizzaz to her invitations and then together we designed her thank you notes for her upcoming wedding. I hope to have pictures of both to share with you soon.

GOT STAMPS???

Well I've got 'em and I'm letting go of some that I've been holding on to for way too long.
I've spent nearly all day working in my stamping room pricing retired stamp sets getting ready for my WHALE OF A SALE on Sunday, June 10th.  These stacks are sets that I've still got to find prices on.  I'm doing a better job of late putting the price on each set as I receive it.
As I'm pricing, I'm trying to sort according to holidays, sentiments, etc.  It's taking a little more time doing it this way but I think it'll be easier for the ladies to shop.  Hey, I'm trying to get rid of as much "stuff" as I can to make room for some new toys.

Now this is not all the current sets that I have left BUT I only have five current wood-mount sets left.  I'm so excited about that because I want to "go clear".  Clear sets take up a lot less room plus they are easier to organize.
Tomorrow I've got to get busy and get all this put away as I have a card class on Sunday and I don't want any peeking!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

RETIRING PRODUCTS BEING USED ONE LAST TIME

This coming Sunday I am having a class using RETIRING stamp sets.  I choose four of my favorite sets...I hate to let them go! but I'm determined this year to get rid of some of "my stuff" to make room for some new things.

The first card uses the BAROQUE MOTIF set.  Be sure to check it out on page 146 of the 2011/12 Idea Book & Catalog.
I'm really going to miss this set...TOTALLY TOOLS.  I've used this set for birthdays, get well wishes and thinking of you.  I'm guessing that some of my ladies may use this card for Father's Day. (I have the hardest time designing those male cards).
FLIGHT OF THE BUTTERFLY has been around a long time but has served well.  In this set are the following sentiments: thank you so very much, hope your day is as happy as happy gets!, one person can make such a difference and that person is you! AND if nothing ever changed there would be no butterflies.
Last but not least, the MEDALLION single stamp.  This layout was cased from a card that I received while at Leadership and unfortunately I do not know who to give credit to.  This stamp offers many possibilities.

If you live in the Katy, TX area and would like to attend this class, email me for details!

Just a reminder....you only have until the end of the month to buy these, along with hundreds more, retired stamp sets and accessories.  You can purchase them directly from my Stampin'Up! website (see label above).
Thank you for stopping by.  Do something good for yourself; stamp daily!
