Technique Club continued

Here is the CHALKBOARD TECHNIQUE that I shared with ladies at my Technique Club a couple of weeks ago.  Once again I cased this card from another Stampin'Up! Demonstrator, Becky.
I used the Hearts A Flutter Stamp Set and Framelits, both of which are in the Spring Catalog.
Valentines is just around the corner so for your stampin' needs, please visit my website: www.shirleybmckay.stampinup.net.
Thanks for stopping by and until next time, Happy Stampin!

Technique Club begins Sunday

So here's a preview of one of the techniques I will teach.  This was "cased" from another Stampin'Up! Demonstrator.  Thanks so much Kelly!  For those who don't know what "case" means .... "copy and share everything" and that's just what we Demonstrators do.
Card dimensions are as follows:
Early Espresso 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4
First Edition Designer Series Paper 4 x 5 1/4
Always Artichoke 2 1/4 x 5
Very Vanilla 2 x 4 3/4
Other products used:  From My Heart Stamp Set, Labels Collection Framelits, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Always Artichoke Ribbon, VersaMark, Gold Embossing Powder
If you'd like more information, please feel free to contact me through my SU Website, shirleybmckay.stampinup.net.
Later in the week I will share the other technique that I'll be teaching at Sunday's class.
Until next time, happy stampin!

Black & White Card Class - Part 3

Thanks for joining me today as I continue my share of cards my ladies will make at my upcoming Black & White Card Class.
For this card, I used the Hello, Doily stamp set along with the Layered Labels stamp set and coordinating Apothecary Accents Framelits. Other products used:  Jet Black Stazon Ink, Pearl Jewels
If you're a Demonstrator like me, everything I buy from SU is an investment.  Therefore, I try to store my products so they will last forever.  That's why I followed another Demonstrators lead and store my Framelits on a Magnetic Strip to keep them from getting bent.
I hope you'll stop by tomorrow for my last card in this series.  Have a blessed day!

There's so many possibilities with the Floral District designer series paper

and the Betsy's Blossoms stamp set.
Notice the stamp set is used to stamp the background and then the designer series paper is used mid-way the card.  The Big Shot and Labels Collection Framelits were used to make the piece to hold the sentiment.  The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is from the Bring on the Cake stamp set.

Here we have the Floral District designer series paper used for the background on the front of the card. The "Get Well Soon" sentiment is out of the Sincere Saluations stamp set (retired).  Other items used:  Whisper White, Lucky Limeade, Rich Razzleberry card stock, Daffodil Delight ribbon and the Decorative Label punch.
Once again, these cards were designed by my sister, Sue!  Thanks sis for the ideas.
Have a great Friday and safe weekend.  See you early next week!

Stampin' with my NC downline continues.....

My post today is the little pocket book that Sue, my sister, shared with my NC downline at our meeting last week.
 Here's the inside.
Sue used Marina Mist and Whisper White card stock, Twitterpated designer series paper, the Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dots Folder, Labels Collection Framelits, Brights Designer Buttons and Linen Thread.
And here's a closer view showing the detail.
Last week Sue and I met our cousins - Mary Ann, Linda and Susan - at Cracker Barrel.  It's always great seeing family when back in Charlotte.
Happy Monday; thanks for stopping by today!
